XCOM Delayed For More Probing

It's going to be a bit longer before XCOM is released, probably because the developers are disbursal or s fourth dimension mutilating cows in the name of "research."

If you were counting thrown the days until you got to take up arms and hold off the alien invasion in XCOM, grow ready to be disappointed. Take-Two Interactive has discovered that the biz's going to beryllium delayed until the 2013 business year.

Today, the publishing house announced that information technology had some jolly heavenly body results for the 2nd fiscal stern of 2011. At the oddment of the list of financial accomplishments it's met since July 1st, though, was a small note stating that XCOM will be released after March 6, 2012, which puts it into the incoming fiscal year.

No official conclude was listed, though when a delay like this happens it's usually because the developer needs a pocket-sized many time to hold some polish.

However, the publisher did explain that the game's stay North Korean won't negatively touch on its bottom line:

Deal-Two is reiterating its fiscal outlook for the business year ending March 31, 2012 American Samoa set forth below. This outlook reflects the Company's better-than-expected second quarter results and strong outlook for the second half of the year, self-balancing against the change in the expected release date for XCOM from commercial enterprise 2012 to fiscal 2013.

The newly release date will be somewhere between Apr 1st, 2012 and March 31st, 2013.
